'Future Acid 2000' was my undergraduate research project and a labour of love, made almost entirely in Pure Data with a set of instruments focusing on digital feedback and unstable oscillators.

These tracks mutate through a gamut of experimental aesthetics, from the harsh noise of 'heavy bits', the almost-lowercase of 'glass bits', the parody techno of 'acid trax 1-4', and abstract ambient of 'acid react'.

This *is* a techno album but it really *isn't* a techno album: it sits in a liminal space between both, working with the laptop at a lower level, eschewing the use of the modern DAW.
